Principal Kevin Christopher has been named a 2050 Fellow under the Center for Business and Environment at Yale (CBEY). Christopher’s participation is centered on the belief that business can help change the world for the better, a mindset shared by the entire Rockridge® team. It’s at the center of our daily motivation for work, to enable companies that are addressing environmental and social needs and changing the world one transaction at a time. It’s why we’re a B Corp and 1% For The Planet member, to ally with and learn from other companies committed to a sustainable future.
About Center for Business and Environment at Yale
The CBEY 2050 Fellows is an interdisciplinary group of Yale graduate and professional students who come together monthly to imagine a responsible economy, resilient societies, and how business can help make them possible.
Convened virtually by Patagonia Director of Philosophy (and CBEY Executive Fellow) Vincent Stanley, the group’s meetings are peer-led, open-ended conversations around the future of business and the environment.
There is much to discuss in an era marked by the climate crisis, a renewed focus on systemic racism, political polarization, strained planetary boundaries, and other major challenges.
Throughout the year, the 2050 Fellows will explore major issues in our working lives, including environmental sustainability, business ethics, migration, economic divides, the future of agriculture, and the role of the US in a global context.
