Kevin Christopher, JD/MBA

Kevin Christopher is a nationally recognized entrepreneur-attorney working at the nexus of impact and innovation. During his 15yr career Kevin has chaired a $100m litigation, commercialized over $1 billion worth of federally-funded technology, and led countless companies ranging from B Corps to biotechs through legal aspects of rapid growth. His clients range from athletic brands to universities, including Mayhem Athlete®, the National Science Foundation, Solas Bioventures, and the University of California. Prior to launching Rockridge® in 2017, Kevin led biotech intellectual property and innovation initiatives at UC Berkeley and Lawrence Livermore National Lab.

Kevin is an MIT-launched DeepTech CEO, and counts as past business and legal mentors Alibaba Chairman Joe Tsai, Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm, U.S. District Court Judge Charles Breyer, and Patagonia Chief Storyteller Vincent Stanley. Kevin is a Board Member for the Global Association of Impact Lawyers (GAIL), and blockchain working group member of the World Economic Forum. A first-generation American and high school graduate, Kevin has earned business and law degrees with additional graduate studies in biomedical engineering and energy policy. He is a published poet, former State of Tennessee county and state commissioner, and past Americorps volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. Kevin lives outside of Salt Lake City with his wife and three children, where he enjoys climbing and triathlons.
