Earlier this year, RVL® helped Southern Champion Tray patent their industry-leading COVID-19 face shield, U.S. Patent No. D899,002.

In mid-April 2020, Southern Champion Tray, a Chattanooga-based manufacturer, began manufacturing their patented face shields to combat the widespread COVID-19 outbreak. In addition to manufacturing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for businesses, SCT took the opportunity to give back to high-risk workers by committing to donate at least 100,000 face shields to medical providers and first responders. Since then, STC has far surpassed their initial commitment, donating over 150,000 face shields to date. STC continues to produce an average of 100,000 face shields per week, and has sold 1,400,000 face shields as of mid-July 2020.
