Rockridge Venture Law® has partnered with fellow Southeastern B Corp companies to sponsor and host the first-ever BLD (B Corp Leadership Development) Southeast Conference. Rockridge’s Impact & Innovation Fellow Bruce Allen served on the planning committee and offered opening remarks for the virtual conference.

On Thursday, November 12, 2020, more than 50 speakers, including leaders from companies such as Patagonia, New Belgium Brewing, Rubicon, Greyston Bakery, and Legacy Vacation Resorts gathered virtually to share their expertise and stories of success in their pursuit of a values-driven business model.

The conference centered around giving over 250+ attendees opportunities to network, chances to collaborate, share best practices, and improve organizational and individual leadership. Participants received clear, actionable takeaways on the most relevant topics in social innovation and sustainable business today, like JEDI principles, impact investing, and emotional intelligence & leadership. Access to recordings of the conference can be found here.

The conferences follows on the heels of a Forbes profile of Rockridge founder Kevin Christopher, which details Mr. Christopher’s involvement and dedication to catalyzing the values-driven business movement across the Southeast.
