Rockridge Venture Law® is pleased to sponsor the Yale Center for Business and Environment‘s event Green Innovation in Coal Country on Friday, October 23rd, 2020, from 1pm – 2:30pm ET.

This virtual panel, held on Friday, October 23rd, 2020, will explore ways to harness private capital to promote climate action and innovation that not only benefits our environment, but also invests in communities getting left behind.

Former Tennessee governor Phil Bredesen will offer opening remarks, and Dr. Daniel Carter, professor of Environmental Studies at Sewanee, will moderate the discussion. Rockridge joins co-sponsors Yale Center for Business and the Environment, Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale (Tsai CITY), Sewanee Office of Civic Engagement, and Sewanee Integrated Program in the Environment in putting the spotlight on environmental innovation in the Appalachian region.

Green Innovation in Coal Country is part of Yale’s Climate Innovator Spotlight Series, a program featuring innovators who are working to address the climate crisis through policy, technology, finance, and more. Event information and free registration can be accessed here.
